Founded in Berlin in 1990, "dopa Entwicklungsgesellschaft für Oberflächenbearbeitungstechnologie mbH" (development company for surface processing technology) develops and produces diamond tools, precision optics and semiconductor substrates, and is active in mechanical and plant engineering. With the help of dopa tools and technologies, demanding materials such as optical glasses, crystals, ceramics, metals and special materials are processed.
In 2017, the company moved to its new headquarters in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen and has been producing there ever since. Currently, a spacious extension building is under construction to increase production.
PohlCon supplied and installed almost 1.6 miles of cable trays (RGS 60-60S, RGS 60-50S, RGS 60-30S and RGS 60-20S) for the new part of the building. In order to safely support the loads of the cables specified by the customer as well as the additional loads of the supply pipes and the conductor rails, pendulum suspensions made of KDU 60 and KDU 57 bracket supports and C-profile rails KHA 41 were used in this construction project. At the same time, customised supply pipes were to be routed underneath the cable trays. Therefore, we developed a special solution: By means of cable clamps, threaded rods and channel nuts, the relevant water and compressed air pipes were fixed in the KHA 41 profiles that were open at the bottom.
