In 2009, work began on Vienna's new urban district the lakeside city. The construction of this city development program is expected to continue until 2028. Wide tree-lined streets, green squares, the lakeside park, the Yella Hertzka park and the Hannah Arendt park provide numerous green spaces and encourage visitors to Vienna's new district to spend a little time there. A newly designed lake 50,000 m² in size forms the heart of the lakeside city and can easily by reached on footpaths and cycle paths. In order to prevent thermal bridging in the blocks of flats, more than 1000 m of ISOPRO® thermal insulation elements were directly supplied to the large construction site by our partner JORDAHL H-BAU Austria.
